In Conversation with William C Anderson

It was an honor to be in conversation with William C. Anderson, author of The Nation on No Map: Black Anarchism and Abolition (AK Press) at Community Books Georgia in Stone Mountain on February 21, 2025.

We discussed the oppressions of colonialism, capitalism, and state power through a geographic lens with a special focus on Palestinian geography.

We focused on Chapter 4 of Palestine 1492, entitled “Panthers and Jaguars,” which places the Palestinian freedom movement into conversation with elders of the Zapatista and Black Panther movements with a critical focus on the rise of fascism.
