Speaking
I have had the honor of sharing my word in public parks, living rooms, gardens, independent book stores, social centers, museums, churches, colleges, universities, university encampments, autonomous encounters, Palestinian refugee camps, and liberated Zapatista territory on topics such as borders, globalization, land, Palestine, Zapatista political theory, the Black Radical Tradition, and Mayan philosophy.
I’m currently on book tour with Palestine 1492: A Report Back (Wild Ox Books, 2024) and The Fourth World War: Zapatista Writings on Global Capital (Paliacate Press, 2024).
Thus far, I have given public lectures at CSU Northridge, Harvard, Columbia, Stanford, Berkeley, Williams, Tufts, UC Irvine, SUNY Binghamton; reported back to Zapatista Territory and to Palestine; have been featured in the LA Review of Books; and am loving independent bookstores and being interviewed on podcasts and community radio.
